Kingsley

To long-time followers of the page, Kingsley may sound like a familiar name, and he may have a very familiar face. Unfortunately, this is due to him being returned into our care.

After 1 year being in a home, Kingsley has been surrendered back to Strong Hearts, and this return has been very confronting for his foster.

Kingsley’s foster had him before he was adopted, and knew what a sweet gentle boy he was. And we expected a very similar demeanour in him. But Kingsley has come back into our care very food aggressive and overweight.

Our amazing vet time has popped him on a high fibre diet and told him he needs to cut the treats and pellets.

We have noticed a massive change in his nature already, but this time we want to ensure he finds a perfect home who can understand him and is willing to ensure this is his forever home.

Kingsley is now looking for an experienced home who can make him feel safe, and understands he needs enrichment, a high quality diet, love and patience.
